Every fade does the same thing: skin at the bottom, hair at the top, and a blend between. Where that blend sits changes everything about how the cut reads.
Low fade
The blend stays close to the ear and neckline. Subtle, easy to grow out, works with almost any length on top. The safe first fade.
Mid fade
Starts around the temple. Enough contrast to look deliberate without going full skin up the side. Most of what leaves our chairs is a mid fade.
High fade
The blend climbs to the parietal ridge. Loud, clean, high maintenance. Looks best with a defined style on top and a visit every two weeks.
What to tell your barber
- How long you want to go between visits.
- Whether you wear it up or down day to day.
- Any photo of a cut you liked, even if it is not the same hair type.
We will take it from there.
